This is a great spot for hanging out with friends, sampling some great wine, and listening to live jazz. Saturday, August 4, 10:00 PM -- 1:00 AM, Late Night Jazz at Mario's Place Restaurant, in Riverside. We're back inland at this fabulous spot -- well worth the drive for those of you in LA or OC! Mario's has incredible Italian food, drinks, and desserts. Mario's is at 3646 Mission Inn Ave., in Riverside.
Friday, August 10 and 17, 9:00 - 11:00 PM, Portfolio Coffeehouse. For being such a funky, artsy spot, Portfolio's serves up some of the best, most consistent jazz lineups -- and excellent coffee! -- in the area. Always a great place to hang out with friends to get the weekend going. Located at 2300 E. 4th St., (at Junipero), Long Beach.
Monday, August 20, Time TBA, The Anarchy Library. For the uninitiated, this is not a typical library, but rather a hip, alternative bar that features live music and other wild entertainment on its "Miscreant Mondays!" So what's a modern jazz group doing there? Well, we'll see! Drink specials and lots of fun. Located at 13250 Woodruff Ave., Downey.

Sunday, July 22, 2:00 - 5:00 PM, Outdoor Music Series at Shoreline Village! Enjoy the afternoon at the water near downtown Long Beach, and listen to some live jazz. Thursday April 19th, 5:30 -- 7:30 PM, Jazz Dinner at di Piazza's Restaurant! This is a casual, fun, and tasty restaurant at 5205 E. PCH (right where Anaheim St. & Stearns meet) in Long Beach. Come on out for dinner, drinks, or dessert, and listen to some great music. No cover, all ages welcome!
Friday the 13th -- 9:00 - 11:00 PM -- we're back at Portfolio! We have a couple Special Guests joining us: Alfonso Garcia on electric bass, and Nick Phillips on trumpet! Great players, so come on out (address below)!
Saturday April 14: any shrinks out there? We're performing for the California Psychological Association's Annual Conference in Costa Mesa. We'll be at the President's Reception, 6:15 - 7:30 PM. If you're attending the conference, stop by and say Hello!
